NORTH WILDWOOD — Three Philadelphia men were charged with robbery, aggravated assault and other drug related charges after an early morning incident on Aug. 24.
According to reports, police responded at about 1:30 a.m. to the 100 block of 13th Avenue for an alleged assault that left one of two victims unconscious. The three assailants allegedly took cash and other property before fleeing, police said.
Police later apprehended William Gillespie, Thomas Kee Jr. and John F. Gillespie Jr., of Benner Street. The three also face charges of conspiracy to commit robbery and drug-related offenses. The three men were sent to the Cape May County Jail, where bail was set at $100,000.
