CAPE MAY – Kristopher P. Kirsch, 35, of Cape May was charged Nov. 13 with burglary, theft, and criminal mischief following an investigation by the Cape May Police Department.
Police were notified of a burglary at a theater on the 500 block of Lafayette Street that occurred Oct. 21 or 22 in which items (value exceeding $2,000) were either removed from the premises or damaged.
Detective Victor DeMusz conducted the investigation and based on information developed during his investigation obtained and executed a search warrant for the Kirsch residence.
On Nov. 13, complaints were issued charging Kirsch with third degree burglary, fourth degree theft (value exceeding $400) and fourth degree criminal mischief (value exceeding $1,600).
Kirsch was scheduled to appear in Cape May Municipal Court Nov. 18 at 9 a.m.
The charges and allegations contained in the complaint are merely accusations and the defendant is considered innocent unless and until proven guilty.
