Suspect Arrested for Two Armed Robberies

WILDWOOD — Wildwood police arrested Luis Xavier Rosario, a 22-year-old resident of Burk Avenue here, in connection with two armed robberies that occurred in the city within the past two weeks.
In the first incident on Sept. 13, Rosario allegedly stole $400 from a victim. The second robbery on Sept. 18, he allegedly robbed Bautista’s Grocery Store at 10:00 a.m. and took $300. A gun was used in both robberies.
Rosario was charged with two counts of first-degree armed robbery and remanded to the county jail on $100,000 cash bail.
