Stop on Bicycle Leads to Arrest

WILDWOOD CREST — Joseph L. Shoestock, 44, of East Stockton Road here was arrested and charged with possession of marijuana and over 70 bags of heroin after being stopped on his bicycle by a Wildwood Crest Police Officer.
Shoestock was riding his bicycle on Cresse Avenue at 7:00 p.m. on Friday March 13 when Officer Robert Lloyd stopped him for questioning and found several outstanding warrants in effect, according to a police report. Further investigation revealed that Shoestock was reportedly in possession of over 70 bags of heroin and a small amount of marijuana.
Shoestock was arrested without incident, processed and is being held in the Cape May County Jail in lieu of a $60,000 cash bail.
