Stolen Motor Vehicle Recovered in Wildwood Crest

WILDWOOD CREST – On Friday, March 11, 2022 P/O Chad DiBlasio conducted a motor vehicle stop in the area of St. Louis and Pacific Avenue after the driver, John Papale, committed multiple motor vehicle violations.
During the motor vehicle stop, it was learned that the vehicle,  which  was  a  limited  edition  valued  at  approximately  $50,000.00,  had  been reported stolen out of Middle Township. John Papale was subsequently placed under arrest and transported to the Wildwood Crest Police Department.
Papale was charged with Receiving Stolen Property along with multiple motor vehicle violations. He was then turned over to the Middle Township Police Department for further investigation into the theft of the motor vehicle.  The owner of the stolen vehicle was contacted and informed of it’s recovery. It should be noted that all person(s) arrested are innocent until proven guilty.
