MAYS LANDING — A Court House man who entered a guilty plea in October to aggravated manslaughter and DWI for the March 7, 2009 drunk driving crash that left a Philadelphia man dead, faces up to 10 years in prison when sentenced Thursday, Jan. 7.
Matthew Maher, 25, a former Middle Township and Philadelphia Kixx soccer star, must serve 85 percent of the prison term imposed before parole eligibility for causing the death of Hort Kapp, 55, in a collision on the Atlantic City Expressway.
The sentencing is scheduled for 8:45 a.m. before Superior Court Judge Michael A. Donio at the Criminal Courts Complex located at 4997 Unami Boulevard in Mays Landing.
