Public’s Help Needed To Nab Dennis Thieves

DENNISVILLE – In the past two months, Woodbine State Police say there have been several burglaries / thefts in Dennis Township, specifically in the areas of Route 83, Route 9, Academy Lane, and E. Creek Mill Road.
A majority of these burglaries / thefts have occurred in the daytime hours and items being stolen include jewelry, cash and small electronics.
At this time, none of the victim’s have been confronted by the suspects as it appears the suspects are targeting homes that are unoccupied at the time of the theft.
A small, dark-colored pick-up truck has been observed in the area and may be of interest.
Residents in Dennis Township are urged to be on the lookout for any suspicious persons or vehicles (record the license plate if it can be done safely) and to contact the New Jersey State Police Woodbine Station immediately at 609-861-5698.
