Police Search for Cheng’s Burglary Suspect

RIO GRANDE — On Nov. 22 at 7:19 a.m., Middle Township police received a call of a broken window here at the Cheng’s Buffett restaurant.
Upon arrival, officers found that someone had gained entry into the business and left the scene.
After contacting the owners and reviewing security tapes, officers learned that a quantity of money was taken along with other items.
A suspect was seen entering the store and then leaving several minutes later.
According to police, the suspect is described as a black male approximately 5 ft. 8 inches to 5 ft. 10 inches tall, between 180 and 210 lbs., and in his mid to late 20s. He was wearing a hooded sweatshirt with a dark jacket and dark pants.
