COURT HOUSE — On July 20 at 2:27 a.m., Middle Township police responded to a burglary call at Clary’s Country Corner Restaurant on Route 9.
Officers discovered the rear door of the restaurant had been pried open allowing entry to the business. A cash register, several donation cans, and over $200 in cash were taken, police said.
Investigation led police to a residence on Hereford Avenue, Court House, where two arrests were made. A search of the home revealed the restaurants missing items.
Jason D. Kohler, 19, who had been staying at the Hereford Avenue home, was charged with burglary, conspiracy, theft, criminal mischief and use of a juvenile to commit a crime. He was released on a summons complaint.
A 17-year-old juvenile male from Indian Trail Road, Burleigh, was also charged with burglary, conspiracy, theft and criminal mischief. The juvenile was lodged in Cumberland County Detention.
Leading the investigation was Det. Clint Stocker, of the Major Crimes Unit.
