By Herald Staff

WILDWOOD — On Aug. 5 just before 1 a.m., Wildwood police responded to the 100 block of West Maple Avenue on a report of an armed robbery.
Upon arrival on the scene, officers located four victims who had just been robbed of money and a cellular telephone at gunpoint.
The victims stated that the perpetrators were another group of four — three males and one female.
The victims provided physical and clothing descriptions for the four perpetrators and said the perpetrators had fled on foot northbound on New Jersey Avenue.
The descriptions were broadcast via radio to local and area police departments. A few minutes after the broadcast of the descriptions of the perpetrators, a group of four subjects matching the descriptions were located at Spicer and Pacific avenues in Wildwood.
Police ascertained that these four individuals were the subjects who had committed the armed robbery. A firearm was located in the waistband of the pants of one four individuals, and the stolen cellular telephone was located on the person of another.
Andre O. Moore, 19, of Tennessee Avenue in Court House was charged with first-degree armed robbery and second-degree conspiracy to commit armed robbery.
Moore was lodged in county jail in lieu of $200,000 cash bail set by Judge David DeWeese.
The three other perpetrators were juveniles. They all received juvenile complaints for first-degree armed robbery and second-degree conspiracy to commit armed robbery. One of the juvenile offenders received additional complaints for possession of a weapon for an unlawful purpose and unlawful possession of a weapon.
Two of the juvenile offenders were lodged in a juvenile detention facility, while the third juvenile was released into the custody of their guardian.
