BURLEIGH – Middle Township Police Department responded to a report of a burglary in the 1200 block of Rt. 9 South in Burleigh Sept. 12 at 11:36 a.m. During the investigation, a suspect was developed. Later that same evening, Michael Kelly, 41, of Erma, was arrested for burglary and theft. Kelly is being held in the Cape May County Correctional Center in lieu of $50,000 bail.
The charges and allegations contained in the complaint are merely accusations and the defendant is considered innocent unless and until proven guilty.
