Philadelphia Teen Charged for Having Stolen Sign

OCEAN CITY — An 18-year-old Philadelphian was arrested by Ocean City police June 15, and charged with receiving stolen property in connection with a sign theft.
According to police, the department conducted an investigation into the theft of a sign from Seasons of Color, a business in the 800 block Asbury Avenue.
Patrolmen Vivarelli and Springer saw Robert H. Hayes in possession of the sign leaving the area of the theft.
After a short foot pursuit, Hayes was apprehended and taken into custody by the officers in the 700 block of Ocean Avenue.
He was charged with receiving stolen property and released on a summons.
