Pennsylvania Woman Arrested for Stolen Handgun Possession, Other Charges

WILDWOOD – At approximately 11:58 p.m. June 23, patrol officers responded to the area of 3710 Ocean Avenue for the report of a noise complaint.
According to the Wildwood Police Department’s Facebook page, the ensuing investigation lead to the arrest of Alyssa Boemer, 19, of Bristol, Pa., who was observed smoking suspected CDS (marijuana) in plain view of the investigating officers. A search incident to the arrest found that she was in possession of a stolen 9mm handgun and a hollow-point round of ammunition, along with additional ammunition.
Boemer was processed and charged with unlawful possession of a handgun, possession of hollow-point ammunition, receiving stolen property, possession of marijuana, under 50 grams, possession of CDS paraphernalia, and use/under the influence of CDS.
Boemer was lodged at the Cape May County Correctional Facility pending a bail hearing.
Kathryn Doherty, 20, of Philadelphia, was also charged on scene with underage possession of alcohol, and Nadaire Webster, 21, of Philadelphia, was arrested for possession of CDS(marijuana), under 50 grams, and he was released after processing.
