AVALON – A Delaware County, Pa. man pleaded guilty Nov. 3 to four counts of bank fraud in federal court in Philadelphia, admitting he helped a client get fraudulent mortgages for multi-million dollar homes in Avalon, NJ.com reports.
Barry Horrow, 68, of Glenn Mills, Pa., a certified public accountant when he helped George Barnard, 45, of Newtown Square, Bucks County, Pa., get the mortgages for the homes, and a yacht, could face up to 10 years in prison when he’s sentenced.
As a part of the plea bargain, Horrow agreed to make restitution of over $2.9 million, the report continued.
