PUBLIC SERVICE ANNOUNCMENTS:
• All Residents and visitors are reminded that there are new traffic patterns on 9th Street between West Avenue and the Route 52 Causeway. Please be alert and observe all signs and police officers directions when utilizing this roadway. Delays can be expected during heavy traffic hours and on weekends.
• Just a reminder that it is a violation of a City Ordinance to have dogs on the boardwalk anytime during the year.
• Effective May 1, 2010 all Parking Meters will be working. Please remember to put money in the meters.
• Pedestrian laws now require motorists to stop for pedestrians in a crosswalk. Pedestrians must also remember that they must obey all laws at intersections controlled by a traffic light. They must also use good judgement and make sure that the motorists have made visual contact with the pedestrian before crossing the street. Pedestrian are not allowed to cross the street in the middle of the block unless it is marked as a designated crosswalk.
