Ocean City Police Arrest Three for CDS Possession

OCEAN CITY — On Friday, Jan. 16, the Ocean City Police Department executed a search warrant in the 3500 block of Bay Avenue that resulted in the arrests of two city residents and another from Upper Township.
According to police, that search warrant was obtained after a lengthy investigation into the possession of a weapon and controlled dangerous weapon possession.
At the scene, a weapon was seized along with suspected CDS (heroin) and other drug related paraphernalia including hypodermic syringes.
Arrested was Anthony Caggiano, 27, of Ocean City. He was charged with possession of CDS, possession of a weapon for unlawful purpose and possession of a hypodermic syringe.
Tiffany Wagner, 22, of Ocean City and Stephanie Banning, 27, of Marmora were charged with possession of CDS, possession of drug paraphernalia, and possession of hypodermic syringe.
Caggiano was placed on an arrest warrant issued by Municipal Court Judge Richard Russell, in the amount of $50,000 full cash bail.
Wagner and Banning were processed and released on summonses.
The investigation was conducted by Detective Dan Lancaster of the Ocean City Police Department. Assisting with the execution of the search warrant was the Cape May County SWAT Team.
