Neighbors, Police Stop Burglary in Burleigh; Police Seek Two Suspects

BURLEIGH– On July 28, at about 10:30 pm Middle Township Police received a 911 call from a concerned citizen reporting a burglary in progress.
While officers were responding the caller reported that a U-haul truck pulled up in the area, and three black males were seen walking with motorcycles from a local property.
When Officers arrived they found one subject in the U-haul truck, and three stolen motorcycles next to the U-haul. Two suspects fled the scene on foot.
Trevor Brown 21 years old from Atlantic City was arrested and charged with Conspiracy, Theft, and Burglary. He was lodged in Cape May County Correctional Center on $25,000 bail.
There is no description on the other two suspects. The area was dark.
Middle Township Major Crimes Unit is seeking information on the other two suspects involved in the crime. Anyone with information is asked to contact the police department at 465-8700, or Cape May County Crime Stoppers at 465-2800.
This crime was stopped, and the stolen property was returned to the owner due to neighbors being vigilant, and reporting suspicious activity. The police department urges anyone who witnesses suspicious activity to contact the police immediately.
