Missing Woodbine Teen Found Dead

WOODBINE — The body of Khalil Wallace, 19, was found Thurs. Oct. 6. in a lake in Cumberland County.
Wallace, the father of an 8-month-old daughter, was last seen on Sept. 20 around 3:15 p.m. outside the Dollar Plus store on Washington Avenue. He was seen voluntarily entering a 2012 Chrysler minivan. His family reported him missing on Sept. 22.
Police later found charred remains of the minivan in Philadelphia. His cell phone was recovered in the Germantown section of the city.
According to a release from State Police, the body was found in a lake near Dragston Road in Downe Township. A positive identification was made through fingerprints.
The death is being considered as a homicide.
