EDGEWOOD – Middle Township Police Department was called July 1 for a disturbance on Bayview Road in Edgewood. On arrival, officers identified Steven Baker, 52, of Edgewood, as the accused and placed him under arrest for simple assault. A warrants check of Baker revealed that he was a fugitive from Florida for vehicular manslaughter.
Baker was lodged in the Cape May County Correctional Center on a no bail fugitive warrant.
