WILDWOOD CREST – Wildwood Crest Police were called to the 200 block East Primrose Road July 8 on a domestic disturbance via 911 by a female who said her boyfriend pointed a firearm at her during an argument.
Officers responded to the area securing the 200 block East Primrose Road. Further investigation led to the apprehension of Wesley Donahue, 54, of Wildwood Crest, and the confiscation of a loaded .22 caliber rifle. Donahue allegedly pointed the loaded rifle at his girlfriend while the two were arguing.
Donahue was charged with possession of a firearm for unlawful purpose and aggravated assault. He was lodged at the Cape May County Correctional Center with bail set at $10,000. No injuries were reported at the time of the incident.
