RIO GRANDE- The Middle Township Street Crimes unit with the assistance of the Cape May County Prosecutor’s Office, and the CMC Regional SWAT executed a court authorized search warrant at the Shelton Hotel in Rio Grande on Aug. 21.
The search warrant was the result of a month long investigation. The search warrant yielded the seizure of approximately a quarter ounce of cocaine, numerous plastic baggies, and a digital scale. The occupant of the room and target of the investigation, Craig Young, 44, of Rio Grande was arrested without incident.
Young was charged with distribution of cocaine, possession of cocaine and two counts of possession of drug paraphernalia. Bail was set at $35,000 full cash. Young was transported to the Cape May County Correctional Center in lieu of bail.
