FISHING CREEK- On October 17 at approximately 6:00 p.m., the Lower Township Police Department received a report of a sexual contact.
The victim was a 15 year-old female who was walking westbound in the eastbound shoulder of Breakwater Road near the Breakwater Plaza Shopping Center when a Hispanic/Mexican male approached her.
The subject was wearing a red and black flannel long sleeve shirt, blue jeans, had a distinctive bump on his nose and wrinkles around his eyes.
His physical description is approximately 5’08” in height, stocky to round build weighing approximately 200 lbs.
The subject approached her saying “hey” and then grabbed her chest area and placed his hands down her shirt while trying to pull her into the wooded area. The victim was able to push him away and run to the shopping plaza and called for assistance.
The victim did not see her attacker’s route of travel after the incident and a check of the area by farm workers and neighbors proved negative for any leads.
In addition, an all points bulletin was put out to surrounding law enforcement agencies in an effort to locate the suspect with negative results.
The Lower Township Police Department is asking for assistance from anyone who may have been in the area around the time of the incident or has any information in regard to this case and described suspect.

Patrolman Robert Fessler, Detective Edward Dougherty and Detective Joseph Boyle are investigating the case.
