VILLAS – Lower Township police are investigating a robbery and stabbing that took place Sunday Oct. 25 about 1:30 a.m. on Magnolia Avenue here.
A 19-year old male was walking home when he was approached by six men reported to be four white males and two black males. The group, which ranged in age from 20 to 25 years old, approached the victim and demanded money, according to a press release.
The victim stated that when he refused, one of the black males held a knife to his neck while other members of the group went through his pockets and removed $150 in cash.
The victim struggled with the group and while attempting to grab the knife, the suspect with the knife slashed the victim’s arm and hand. The man with the knife threatened to kill the victim if he contacted police.
