Lower Police Stop Vehicle, Seize $12,000 in Rx Drugs

VILLAS — During a motor vehicle stop Thursday, Sept. 25 at about 5 p.m. on Warwick Road here, Lower Township police seized 100 80-mg of oxycotin, over 200 percocets and a small amount of marijuana.
It was estimated that the street value of the oxycotin was in excess of $8,000 and the value of percocet was approximately $4,000.
Officer Jennifer Anzelone received information earlier in the day regarding the purchase of illegal prescription medication, which was to be delivered to an unnamed subject. That information was relayed to the Detective Division.
Detectives Chris Lambert and Joe Boyle conducted a motor vehicle stop with assistance of Anzelone and Officer Dallas Bohn.
The vehicle’s driver, Paul Reynolds of North Cape May was arrested and charged with possession of schedule II narcotics, possession with the intent to distribute, and possession of marijuana.
Bail was set by Judge David DeWeese at $15,000 full cash, no 10 percent.
Reynolds was remanded to county jail.
