Lower Police Nab North Cape May Man in Summer-long Rash of Thefts

ERMA — On Aug. 28, Lower Township police announced the arrest of Brian D. Hunt, 19, of Rosehill Parkway, North Cape May in connection with break ins and thefts of numerous vehicles throughout the summer.
According to a release, the department conducted a lengthy investigation into that rash of thefts in the North Cape May area.
Police had increased surveillance in the area using several unnamed methods.
Hunt was arrested on Aug. 27 and charged with multiple counts of burglary and theft from motor vehicles.
Items stolen included car stereo equipment, Ipods, loose change, cash, GPS devices and other items.
Detective Christian Lambert made the arrest. Multiple members of both patrol and detective divisions conducted the investigation.
