Jail Report Lists Last Home Invasion Suspect in County Custody

COURT HOUSE — According to the county jail’s commitment report, the last suspect in the June 22 Goshen home invasion has been extradited and taken into custody in this county.
Joshua Devericks, 19, was arrested in New York state last week and was reported in custody at Cape May County Correctional Facility on Thur., Aug. 26. His bail was set at $250,000.
Devericks and Robert T. Phillips were charged with robbery, criminal restraint, burglary, theft and possession of firearms.
New Jersey State Police arrested Phillips in Woodbine on July 6. He is now in county jail on $250,000 bail.
The original police report stated that masked men brandishing firearms entered the residence on Route 47 through an unlocked door. While holding the occupants at gun point the masked men stole several items. The residents were ultimately bound prior to the suspects leaving the scene.
