Indictments Filed Sept. 18

COURT HOUSE – A Cape May County grand jury handed up 22 indictments Sept. 18. The abbreviation CDS below stands for controlled dangerous substance. 
The following actions are alleged by law enforcement agents. Persons named are innocent until proven otherwise in court.
Emily R. Weinman
Emily Weinman’s arrest on a Wildwood beach over the Memorial Day weekend resulted in a video that went viral. Following a failed attempt to reach a pre-indictment plea deal, Weinman, 20, of Philadelphia, was indicted this week on five counts. Two counts of fourth-degree aggravated assault on police officers, one count of throwing bodily fluids, third degree, one fourth-degree count for hindering apprehension and a final third-degree count for resisting arrest.
Kenneth Torelli, Crystal Jones
Kenneth Torelli, 33, and Crystal Jones, 30, both of North Cape May, were named in a four-count indictment. Torelli faces two third-degree counts for possession of marijuana over 50 grams with intent to distribute and financial facilitation of criminal activity.
In addition, Torelli was named in a count for fourth-degree possession of a CDS.
Jones faces only one count of possession of a CDS, third degree, for possession of buprenorphine. 
Ryan Tomes, David P. Tomes Jr., Charles W. Jobe Jr.
Ryan Tomes, David Tomes, and Charles Jobe, of Lower Township, were indicted for burglary, criminal mischief, attempted theft and conspiracy, each count was in the third degree. The indictment states that the three entered an estate structure on Wilde Avenue attempting to take estate property and causing $2,000 worth of damage.
Kelvin Valentin
Kelvin Valentin was indicted for possession with intent to distribute marijuana, fourth degree.  The incident occurred in Dennis Township March 9.
Charles Bland
Charles Bland, 25, of Villas, was indicted for first-degree murder, along with aggravated assault and possession of a weapon, a gun, for unlawful purposes, each second degree, and third-degree hindering apprehension. The indictment claims that on April 11, 2018, Bland assaulted a female victim causing such bodily injury that the victim died.
Jennifer Thierjung
Jennifer Thierjung, 37, of Villas, was indicted on two counts of possession of a CDS, methamphetamine and buprenorphine, third degree. Along with two counts of third-degree hindering apprehension for providing false information and tampering with evidence.
Donna L. Smith
Donna Smith was indicted for burglary at Seaspray Court in North Wildwood.  Causing bodily injury to a victim in the course of the burglary made the count second degree. In addition, she faces a count for third-degree theft.
James W. Savarese
James Savarese, 24, of Villas, is facing a second-degree count for eluding police in a motor vehicle.  Savarese was eventually involved in a crash.
Dawn Sneathen
Dawn Sneathen, of Belleplain, was indicted for fourth-degree aggravated assault on a police officer.
Lynyrd Sinkiewicz
Lynyrd Sinkiewicz was indicted for aggravated assault, third degree, arising from a domestic violence incident in Dennis Township in July.
Carlos A. Rivera, Eugene E. Moore, Darayll Meter, Ryan Madonna, Ryan Kennedy, Jessica Garrison
Each of the individuals listed was indicted separately for third-degree possession of a CDS.
Devon Onorato
Devon Onorato, 22, of Erma, was indicted for fourth-degree throwing bodily fluids at a Sheriff’s Officer in September.
Scott P. Kane
Scott Kane, 27, of Wildwood, was indicted for burglary, theft, and possession of a CDS, cocaine, each count third degree. The burglary occurred on 11th Street in North Wildwood sometime between Oct. 17, 2017 and June 2, 2018.
Daniel J. Jacoby
Daniel Jacoby was indicted for second-degree endangering the welfare of a child and third-degree aggravated assault. The charges stem from a domestic violence incident in June.
Michael Gavin, Jr.
Michael Gavin, Jr. was indicted for second-degree burglary and first-degree witness tampering.  According to the indictment Gavin broke into an apartment of a female victim on Sixth Avenue in North Wildwood.  In the incident, he caused bodily harm to a male victim. The day after the break-in, the indictment claims that Gavin attempted to get the female victim to change her testimony.
Remon Ibrahim
Remon Ibrahim, 26, was indicted for attempted invasion of privacy, third degree, and criminal sexual contact, fourth degree. The indictments state that Ibrahim attempted to record or photograph the victim while exposed or engaged in a sexual act in an environment where the victim reasonably expect to be unobserved.
