By Al Campbell

VILLAS — On Aug. 21 at about 3 p.m., Lower Township police arrested two persons who appeared to be in the process of exchanging drugs in the area of the Wawa on Bayshore Road.
According to a release, detectives and patrol personnel were in the area monitoring activity due to recent complaints from neighbors regarding “quality of life” issues and narcotics use.
Detective Chris Lambert, Patrolman Robert Smith and Patrolman William Barcas approached the individuals and discovered that one had a warrant for his arrest. On further discussion with the female subject, she was found to be in possession of a bag that contained what was allegedly cocaine.
Placed under arrest and taken to Lower Township Police Department headquarters was Nicole A. Giorgio, 36, of the 400 block, Adriatic Avenue, North Cape May. She was charged with cocaine possession.
Also arrested was Tyrone Mcclinek, 34, of the 200 block West Pine Avenue, Wildwood. He was charged with possession of three bags of cocaine and a bag of marijuana. He was processed on an outstanding warrant.
Mcclinek was charged with possession of marijuana and possession of cocaine with intent to distribute.
Judge David DeWeese set bail at $25,000 and Mcclinek was remanded to county jail in lieu of bail.
