Ex-Municipal Prosecutor Faces DWI Charge

Lower Township Municipal Prosecutor Peter Tourison resigned his position after being charged with drunk driving in North Cape May, according to the Press of Atlantic City.
Tourison told the Press of Atlantic City that he also resigned his position as solicitor at the Lower Cape May Regional School District but currently still holds attorney positions at the North Wildwood School District and Erma Volunteer Fire Company. He is also a North Cape May attorney and has a private practice on Bayshore Road.
Tourison resigned municipal judge positions in Stone Harbor, Cape May and Middle Township in 2008 after a drunk driving arrest in North Cape May, according to a previous Herald report.
Tourison pled guilty to DWI charges on June 25, 2008. Tourison lost his driver’s license for 90 days and was charged over $700 in fines and surcharges.
