COURT HOUSE – Middle Township Police Department’s Street Crimes Unit and the Cape May County Prosecutor’s Office Gangs, Guns and Narcotics Task Force concluded a narcotics investigation Dec. 15 resulting in the execution of a court authorized search warrant of a vehicle.
The target of this investigation, Lee “Poppy” Jaudon, 34, of Edison, was observed by undercover officers in various locations within Middle Township distributing narcotics.
As a result of the investigation, over one ounce of cocaine, heroin, and over 30 ecstasy pills were seized from the vehicle operated by Jaudon.
Jaudon was subsequently charged with three counts of possession of controlled dangerous substance (CDS), third degree, possession with intent to distribute cocaine, second degree, possession with intent to distribute methylenedioxymethamphetamine (MDMA), second degree, possession with intent to distribute heroin, third degree, and possession with intent to distribute CDS within 500 feet of a public place, second degree.
Jaudon was processed and lodged in Cape May County Correctional Cener in lieu of $200,000 full cash bail.
