COURT HOUSE- Jayson W. Maykut, 29 of Wilmington, Del was indicted Tuesday, Jan 20 for vehicular homicide in connection with the 2008 fatal crash on Landis Ave in Sea Isle City that killed his friend Megan Ashley Perry, 25, of Wilmington, Del.
Perry, was in town to serve as a bridesmaid in a friend’s wedding. On her way home from a rehearsal dinner May 15, she was the passenger in Maykut’s car when he lost control as he tried to pass another vehicle.
Perry, was pronounced dead at the scene.
Maykut received only minor injuries. He was charged in the accident with vehicular homicide as well as drunk and reckless driving by Sea Isle City Police.
