Crest Police Arrest Man for Lewdness on Beach

By Lauren Suit

WILDWOOD CREST — The Wildwood Crest Police Department arrested a 53-year-old man after he allegedly exposed himself in a lewd manner on the beach at Farragut Road on June 27.
Frank DiVincenzo, of Ridgefield, was taken into police custody after his lewd acts were reportedly observed by five juvenile females, ranging in age between 12 through 14 years old, and their parents. The girls and their parents alerted the Wildwood Crest Beach Patrol and the police and DiVincenzo was taken into custody without incident.
DiVincenzo was charged with lewdness, a fourth degree crime due to the victims being under the age of 13. Judge Louis Belasco assessed bail of $5000 and issued a condition of the bail that DiVincenzo be banned from the beaches of the Wildwoods and Lower Township.
DiVincenzo posted bail and is awaiting trial.
Anyone that may have been a victim of this crime is urged to contact the Wildwood Crest Police Department.
