COURT HOUSE – The County Prosecutor’s Office arrested a man for the possession and distribution of child pornography July 18.
The search warrant led to the discovery of 21 ounces of marijuana and approximately $4,000 on the premises. A second man was arrested for the drugs, according to a release from the prosecutor’s office.
The arrest of Ronald Curll, 63, of Court House in connection with the child pornography charges, was the result of a tip from the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children.
A release from the County Prosecutor said they executed the search warrant July 15 and found Curll later, on July 18.
Curll is charged with the possession and distribution of child pornography in excess of 1,000 images. He is
Shawn Gaston, 20, of Court House, has been charged with possession of marijuana and possession of marijuana with the intent to distribute. He was released on a summons.
The Cape May County Prosecutor’s Office is engaged in an ongoing effort to identify those involved in the child pornography trade. A release urged members of the public to report criminal activity to the county prosecutor by calling 609-465-1135.
