Baby Jesus Swiped from Nativity Display

NORTH CAPE MAY — The manger is empty. Baby Jesus is missing.
Not only the Wise Men, but Lower Township police are looking for that certain someone who stole the Baby Jesus figurine from the Nativity display, as Mary and Joseph watched in silent disbelief in front of Evoy’s Funeral Home on Bayshore Road.
The crime was reported to Lower Township Police on Monday, Dec. 22.
Patrolman Kevin Lewis is investigating the theft.
