Accused Bloods Gang Member Wanted For Robbery Captured

WILDWOOD – Matthew “Bam Brim” Freeman an accused member of the Bloods street gang wanted by Middle Township for a Feb. 4, robbery has been captured by Wildwood Police, Middle Township police said.
Daniel Thomas told Middle Township Police that a black male identified only by the street name “Bam” had threatened to use a gun if he didn’t turn over all his personal property to him. Thomas complied and gave the black male a bag of his clothes and personal items.
The Department’s Major Crimes Unit and Street Crimes Unit were then notified and assisted with the investigation. The black male was subsequently identified as Matthew Freeman aka “Bam Brim”, 27 years old, last residing at the Offshore Motel located in Rio Grande.
Freeman was lodged in the Cape May County Jail on $50,000 bail.
