Suze DiPietro has just released her rock ‘n roll vampire novel and accompanying soundtrack CD, “Between Keys.”
To celebrate, she will be holding a Book and CD Release Party at The Ocean City Music Pier on Friday, April 10, from 7 p.m. until 9 p.m. Hosting the event will be Joe Ciapanna from top-rated 103.7 THE SHARK.
Admission is free and DiPietro will be selling signed “Between Keys” books and CDs. All proceeds will benefit the Upper Township School District’s Music and Technology programs.
The night will also include a raffle of show tickets and other prizes. The event is sponsored by Millville & Wildwood Harley Davidson.
The party will feature a live performance by DiPietro and some of the area’s top musicians. The band includes: John Hagan (drums), Robert ‘Wick’ Wickward, Mark Litwak (bass) and Chip Gerber (guitar).
“Between Keys” is a fun, sexy, adult story about vampires. Vampires have always been hot, but in this book, they are even hotter and they bite.
After a decade long ride on the top of the music charts with her guitarist husband, Dante, Francesca Scarlatti has fallen into the bottom of an emotional and professional abyss when he is murdered.
It’s a man’s world, but Francesca Scarlatti is a heroine who takes charge of her life, rebuilds her career, finds love…and takes on the vampires and wins. She does it all with heart, intelligence and courage–not to mention with a sense humor.
The CD is the soundtrack to the book. All of the songs are sung from the perspective of a particular character, making the book come alive for readers.
A professional singer and songwriter, DiPietro has performed with Project Suzé-ko, the Electric Fish and Fake I.D. She has written, produced and performed in her original rock opera, “Grendel’s Lair.”
She founded the VH1 Save the Music Auction at the Trump Marina in 1999 and is the author of “An Angel Knocks on Hell’s Door.”
All of the songs on “Between Keys” were written by DiPietro and Frank Gorgo at his Radio Active Music Recording Studio in Newfield.
The CD is available for purchase on iTunes, Amazon.com, Rhapsody and Napster. The book can be purchased from Amazon.com.
