Annual Hispanic heritage and family festival

The Puerto Rican Action Committee (PRAC) will be hosting
the 15th annual Hispanic Heritage Family Festival (HHFF) on Saturday September 13, 11 a.m. – 5 p.m. on the downtown northern bike trail in Woodbine New Jersey (the intersection of Rt.557 & Washington Ave.
& at Rt. 550, Woodbine – Ocean view Rd.).
This open air location will offer the public free access to live music by nationally known recording artist Joe Rivera and his 7 piece band.
Rain or shine attendees will enjoy a full day of traditional Hispanic dance performances, demonstrations and for a fee a variety of Hispanic
/American food and beverages.
The 2008 Hispanic Heritage Family Festival will also host a free
Latino Arts craft workshop that will offer both adults & children information about recycling and ECO sustainability. Participants will paint, stamp and sew on to recycled paper & embellish re-useable shopping bags. It will be a fun and crafty way to learn how everyone can help keep our environment clean.
Community vendors will also be on hand presenting free health information & screenings, Animal welfare / advocacy resources and community wellness services. Numerous craft vendors will offer an assortment of handmade goods, baked goods & clothing for retail purchase. Free parking can be found all around the festival site.
