UPDATE: Ocean View Crash Leaves Two Local Men Injured

OCEAN VIEW– Two local men were injured in a two vehicle crash here on Route 9 on Friday, May 7 just before 8. p.m.
According to state police, Shawn Hartman, 29, of Seaville was heading south on Route 9 and tried to turn left into the Wawa parking lot. Hartman was struck by a northbound car driven by Micheal Faragasso, 25, of Court House. Hartmans car spun around and crashed into a utility pole.
Ocean View Firefighters had to extricate Faragasso from his car.
Saragasso was airlifted to the trauma unit at Atlanticare Regional Medical center in Atlantic City by South Star medevac. The flight crew reported Faragasso to be in stable condition with a possible head and abdominal injuries.
Hartman was transported to Shore Memorial Hospital in Somers Point by Belleplain Emergency Corps., with non-life threatening injuries.
Charges are pending according to Trooper Nocito who is investigating the crash.
