UPDATE: Child Hurt in Pool Mishap Returns to Campground

COURT HOUSE– An unidentified 7 year-old female who was airlifted by South Star medevac to the pediatric trauma unit at Cooper University Hospital in Camden Fri., July 16 returned to the campground on Sun., July 18.
Operators of Shellbay Campground told the Herald on Mon., July 19 the injured child had returned to the camp, and had about seven stitches after when she slid down a rail, but did not fall, as was reported earlier by Middle Township police.
The child suffered a head injury according to police who said she fell “approximately” 10 feet.
