Two Car Accident Snaps Pole, Sends One to Hospital

FISHING CREEK — A two car accident about 11 a.m. Sat., Jan. 14 snapped a pole on Breakwater Road and sent one driver to the hospital.
Lower Township Rescue was on scene and paramedics transported one driver with injuries to the hospital. Initially, a Medic helicopter was called to the county airport but the request was canceled.
A Mustang was headed on Breakwater Road toward Seashore Road and was allegedly struck as it entered a driveway by a Subaru. A utility pole was snapped but wires remained overhead.
