Slick Road Causes Accident

MARMORA- At approximately 6:15 a.m., Thur., Jan. 5, an SUV hit a patch of black ice on Tuckahoe Road.
The vehicle hit a tree and rolled into the woods. Driver Eric Konczyk and passenger Mark Konczyk Jr. did not sustain any major injuries.
According to Trooper R. Varnadore of the NJSP, the vehicle was traveling east on Tuckahoe Road when it started fishtailing due to weather conditions.
Our county experienced a dusting of snow overnight.
“Once the vehicle met with grass, it caused it to roll over,” said Varnadore.
Responding to the accident were NJSP, Marmora Volunteer Fire Company and the Upper Township Rescue Squad.
