One Injured When Truck Hits Utility Pole on Route 50

TUCKAHOE– At least one person was injured Sunday afternoon when a pick-up truck left the roadway and stuck a utility pole in front of Cody’s Power Equipment.
The cash caused delays on Route 50 as traffic was reduced to one lane of travel.
The Upper Township Rescue Squad and Tuckahoe Fire Department responded to the scene.
One person was transported to Atlanticare Regional Medical Center in Atlantic City.
The crash is under investigation by state police at the Woodbine station.
