LEESBURG– One person was injured Saturday night in a two vehicle crash here at the intersection of Route 347 and Hansdmill Road.
A sport-utility-vehicle rolled over in the crash that occurred at around 11. p.m. The vehicle remained in the roadway causing traffic to come to a standstill.
South Star medevac was requested to airlift the person injured to the trauma unit at Atlanticare Regional Medical Center in Atlantic City. State Police said the victims injuries were not life-threatening.
Belleplain Emergency Corps responded to the scene with Belleplain and Leesburg Fire Departments.
The crash is under investigation by troopers at the Port Norris station.
