By Harry B. Scheeler Jr.

NORTH WILDWOOD– Four people were injured shortly after 11:00 p.m. on Friday, Sept 25 in a serious two vehicle crash here on 8th Ave and New Jersey Ave.
According to police the impact of the crash caused both vehicles to rollover sending passengers onto the road. Ambulances from four different shore communities were called to the scene.
Three Medevac helicopters were requested to fly by medical personal on the scene. They landed at Maxwell field and the Cape May Armory.
Many onlookers gathered as victims were being treated by medical personal. “look at that car! How could there be that much damage?” one woman asked. A man in the crowed answered “they were not going the speed limit, not twenty-five thats for sure”. he said.
According to one eyewitness George Snider, 22, of Del Haven one vehicle ran a stop sign. “We where about two blocks away, we seen a guy run a stop sign. I heard a big crash and I actually seen the car flip– like it was a complete flip” he said.
Members of the Cape May County Prosecutors Office Fatal Accident Investigation Unit were on the scene investigating.
Police have not released additional information on the conditions of the injured or who was at fault.
