WILDWOOD– An unidentified man was found unconscious at the bottom of a stairwell on the 200 block of West Maple Ave Wednesday afternoon.
The Wildwood Fire Department responded to the scene at around 3. p.m. and requested paramedics to respond and a medevac helicopter to fly.
The man was airlifted to the trauma unit at Atlanticare Regional Medical Center in Atlantic City by South Star medevac.
The flight crew reported the patient to be a 40’s male who was unconscious with a serious head injury in critical condition.
Wildwood police have no further information at this time.
