Horse Falls on Man at Goshen Ranch

GOSHEN — A Woodbine man received internal injuries when he was crushed by a horse on Fri. July 29 around 10 a.m.
According to Middle Township police, Edward Carson, 59, was in a stall at the Equine Center at 418 Route 47 North when the accident occurred.
“He was taking care of a horse in a stall,” said Lt. John Edwards of Middle Township Police Department. “And for some reason, the horse rolled over and pinned him between the horse and the wall.”
When police arrived at the scene the horse had already been removed from the stall.
Patrolman Steve Novsak found Carson, lying on the ground with Medics attending to him. Carson was apparently crushed between a large horse and a stall
Carson was airlifted to AtlantiCare Regional Medical Center City Division with internal injuries and a possible fractured pelvis.
