Driver Airlifted to Trauma Center After Rollover Crash in W. Cape May

WEST CAPE MAY— Cape May City Fire Department responded to a rollover motor vehicle accident here on 6th Street and States Ave around 4:50 p.m. on Wednesday, May 27.
When firefighters arrived the truck was in the woods, the driver exited the vehicle and was lying on the ground, according to a Fire Dept official.
Medevac 5 was requested to the Cape May Elementary School on Lafayette Street to airlift the victim to Atlanticare Regional Medical Center’s trauma unit in Atlantic City.
The accident is under investigation by the Cape May City Police Department.
