Coast Guard Rescues One near Cape May

CAPE MAY– The Coast Guard rescued a man Saturday who fell overboard from a personal watercraft in the Hereford Inlet near Cape May.
The Coast Guard received a call at 4:01 p.m. from a Good Samaritan reporting a man fell off his personal watercraft after hitting a wave and injured his ankle.
A rescue boat crew from Coast Guard Station Cape May arrived on scene and recovered the man from the water.
The rescue boat crew transported the man to Dad’s Place Marina in Wildwood, N.J., and transferred him to awaiting emergency medical personnel.
