Coast Guard Aircrew Rescues One in Middle

MIDDLE TOWNSHIP- The Coast Guard rescued one man Saturday who was stuck standing in mud half a mile south of Avalon Boulevard in Middle Township.
The Coast Guard received a call at 10:00 a.m. from the Avalon Police Department reporting that a man was stuck in mud.
A rescue helicopter crew from Coast Guard Air Station Atlantic City, N.J., arrived on scene.
The aircrew hoisted the person aboard their helicopter and transported him to awaiting emergency medical personnel.
