MAYVILLE — A one-car accident sent a man to the hospital after his car left the roadway and struck a flag pole around 7 a.m. today, Tue. Oct. 4.
According to Middle Township police, Saulamon D. Allen of Woodbine was traveling north on Route 9 in the area of Atkinson’s Tavern when his car left the roadway and struck a flag pole.
Allen was transported to Cape Regional Medical Center for treatment of minor injuries.
In addition to the Middle Township Police Department, the Cape May Court House Volunteer Fire Department, as well as the Middle Township Emergency Medical Services responded to the scene.
